Avoid if Running Windows XP (Any version), 2006-12-19 This program works ok most of the time on versions of Windows prior to XP. With XP Home SP2 the program will not run at all reporting Runtime Error 9. If there is any support for Click'N Burn I have not been able to find it using Google searches. I.E. buy and you are on your own.
You Can Avoid CD Coasters with This Product, 2005-02-12 I have found my Click 'n Burn Pro easier to use than either Easy CD Creator or Nero 6. I also had the failed-burn CD-coaster problem at first, but I found that the product has additional choices for the burn process, which allow the caching of files. Ever since I've cached the files, whether audio or data, I've never had a failed burn. The main opening screen needs to be accessed, and one of the icons allows "options," which will allow the caching.
My only reservation -- which I hope will be addressed by the newest version -- is that the product doesn't seem to handle CD-RW disks, allowing the copying of individual files using Windows Explorer. In this area, Easy CD Creator and Nero 6 seem superior -- especially the latter, since ECDC has never listed my external Sony CD-R(W) drive as supported, in contrast to Nero 6.

NOT EXACTLY A PRO, 2001-06-16 I was VERY dissapointed with this product. Every CD I tried to burn had a coaster or failed withought a warning on my computer. I have used other bad products before, so I bought this one hoping it would be better than the others.. but I was heavily dissapointed. Never judge a book by it's cover.. or in this case, never judge a BURNER by it's name. I have done the burning process many times before this, and I was shocked at how easy it was at first, but then during the copying of my files and other complications of CD's, I was shocked by how my computers responded to the product. I think that you should spend your money on something worth the dough... and not something that could be better.

Keep looking for something better!, 2001-04-10 After trying this software, I am left frustrated and maddened. I've had a 20% success rate with writing to CDs. This program frequently terminates with error windows. Often it just locks up the computer with no warning. My pile of wasted CD-Rs has grown to the point that I have practically given up this part of the hobby. Good luck with whatever OTHER CD writer software you buy.

Phil J, 2001-02-28 Beleive all the good things written about this product! I had several problems with the bundled software that came with my HP CD Writer (8220E with "My CD" and "Direct CD" software). I have a Compaq laptop with a 475mhz AMD processor, not exactly the greatest, but more than sufficient for my needs. The bundled software had a 50/50 chance of making a usable CD, errors regarding 'defective CD' kept popping up in the middle of the burn destroying the disc. Tried receiving support through HP and like everyone else says, no help at all. I even borrowed a friends Adaptec CD Creator and was disappointed with the software-just too much ... and I still made coasters!! Finally read all the good things about "Click and Burn Pro" and decided to buy it. AWESOME, have not made a coaster yet in the 2 weeks I've used it to burn copies of CD's, mixed CD's, and data CD's. The interface is very easy to use and the software configures your write speed for best results (you could also set everything manually to customize your way). You will not be disappointed with this product. The only downside is that if you let the sofware configure your write speed it bumps it down causing longer burns, but like I said NO COASTERS!!! Also comes with a stomper and CD labeler software that's just as easy to use.
