I've been using this hub with a Mac for several years and it works just fine.

Plugged it in, both, to 110 volts and to the USB port on my PC. It will not connect my scanner or my Altec Lansing Speakers even after reloading my USB driver.

Not much to say about a USB hub other than it works or doesnt. The only feature that would set it apart from almost any other is that it can be mounted to a desk or wall or anything because of well designed slots in the bottom. If you are not going to mout it, rubber feet are provided for it to sit on your desktop. It is small and the status lights are easy to read. Great product!
