    A thinking man's shoot-em-up, 2002-04-29
I'm not normally one for the Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein, Half-Life genre of games, but I've fallen absolutely head over heels for Hitman. For once, here's a FPS that forces you to make strategic decisions and does not rely wholly on wanton bloodshed. Great graphics, challenging puzzles, decent storylines, smooth gameplay. If you're tired of shooting mutant zombies and looking for the "Blue Key", try Hitman for a breath of fresh air.

Hitman; a venture in frustration, 2002-04-06
I bought this game hoping to have some fun. I did and then again I didn't. Using the keyboard is a pain...and the controls are terrible! The graphics are great and I enjoyed that immensely. When the game functioned properly, I had a lot of fun. But, the default controls must've been designed for some idiot with four hands... If you can figure it out, it's a lot of fun!

No perks other than realism, 2002-02-08
Never having heard of this game, I must say that I was excited to begin playing. (How can a game where you portray a hitman go wrong.) But immediately after beginning gameplay I realized that this game was somewhat of a disapointment. I have to admit the graphics and sound effects were good, but the dull settings and boring gameplay ruined it for me. At times I found myself wondering streets aimlessly searching for some type of meaning within the stages even after having had read the objectives. I don't consider myself to be an incompotent regarding games, but this game was entirely too strict as to how and in what order you complete levels. (Expect to repeat levels more than several times in order to appease the program gods.) There are no savegames within levels so if you are an unfortunate, and make a minute mistake, you go through the whole boring process once again.(From beginning of level.) I give the game creaters credit for attempting to create a game with some realism, but if you are looking for a great third person shooter I reccomend you try "Max Payne."

    This game is awsome!, 2002-01-18
This is the kind of game where you must use you brain as well as your as your triggerfinger. The fact that the bulltet hole in the walls and enemies does take away from the realism and the story is a little weak, but that is a small price to pay for the fun you get making a covert entry and execution in a nice suit with a silencer. The lack of grenades and other weapons of the sort, but the other variety of weapons is very fun!!

    the best game ever!!, 2002-01-03
this should be rewarded with the world's greatset game ever!!!
