Fabulous Tool, 2007-01-03 I bought Art Explosion 750,000 for Mac for the place where I used to work, and it paid for itself many times over. I especially liked using the photos and combining graphics and photographic backgrounds in Adobe Photoshop to create artwork for publications. Later I bought my own copy for work I do from home. It's a fabulous tool.

Worth the investment, 2006-09-04 I own an older copy of this product and have used the heck out of it on various Macs over the last 5+ years. Believe it or not, it was the PC version, but I am able to open all of the .wmf clip art files in Adobe Illustrator to use as raw material, deconstructing the vector forms to make fast, original illustrations and logos. A real timesaver if you don't feel like hand-drawing a mandolin, corn-on-the-cob, bicycle tire, or what have you. The huge catalog of images included is a great reference, too. I can only imagine how handy the Mac version will be and definitely plan on buying it.

Buyer Beware, 2006-07-13 In a collection of 48 CD-ROMs I might expect that one of the 48 might be bad. Maybe. I would *hope* they would all function, but if one was bad I wouldn't be too surprised. But my first experience with this set was that the first 10 I chose (at random) would not mount. Wouldn't mount on my old G3. Wouldn't mount on my G4 Titanium. Wouldn't mount on my G4 Mirror Drive. Tried some more...some would mount and some wouldn't. Called the company to complain...they sent a new batch...all 48. Did it help? No. Same problem. Just for the record, I don't have trouble with other CDs. Just these. With the batch I have now, I'd say at least half of the CDs do not mount properly. On days when I know I'm going to have to look through this collection for a piece of artwork, I dread it...it's such a hassle. Some good stuff there, but not worth much when you can't get at it.

One massive library, 2006-03-08 This is one massive image library. The package is so large that 48 CDs are provided. A catalog comprised of over 1250+ pages accompanies the discs in this collection. The categories/subcategories that the art is divided into, as well as the catalog make for quick, simple searching. There are many pictures included, such as baked goods with different toppings and textures, as well as different perspectives. this is definitely a useful collection; I can see it being especially well suited for graphic artists, web designers, and amateur craft lovers.

Incorrect book enclosed, 2006-01-27 Part of what helps with these clip art libraries that are so huge, is a good, easy to see printed book. This one said it came with two books and showed that they were of decent size. I received a very small, single book that is hard to see all of the artwork. It will be very hard to be creative with this small printed book.
