Great action, great screenplay, and great characters!, 1999-11-04 Indiana Jones is the epitome of the American hero- brave, reserved, handsome, intelligent, somewhat clumsy, and a loner. These movies show the excellent acting skill of Harrison Ford, along with his adorable ability to be funny. These movies are a classic and should be a part of everyone's collection. Just remember- Harrison was not only a major part of this trilogy, but also the sci-fi masterpiece, Star Wars. You can't get any better than that.

The Temple Rocks!, 1999-11-02 Hey, now, I don't know what 'yall are talking about when you say you've had to settle for the Temple of Doom. It's my favorite! Sure, it's gruesome, but come ON! HAVE YOU SEEN HIS BARE CHEST ANY MORE BARE, my friends? One word: Yummy. Plus the Temple has a more authentic feeling to it. I found River Phoenix and Sean Connery the only good reason to watch the Last Crusade again. And the first one was great, but the Nazi bit wasn't as scary as it had the potential to be and the Indian Voo-Dooish guy in the Temple was the greatest villian by style, in any case. Although all the movies were exceptional acheivements, The Temple should not be underappreciated. Thank you.

2 stars for wide screen, - 3 stars for VHS, 1999-10-29 Lucas himself has confirmed that the DVD's are being prepped for release next year. So, If DVD is important to you, I would wait.
