 This Computer Game Is That Good!, 2000-08-14
My mom bought this game a long time ago and I like playing it. The graphics are excellent, the characters are great, and the storyline is excellent. I really like playing this game and I also like trying to solve the puzzles in this game. If you don't have Grim Fandango, get it because it's that good.
As much fun to watch as it is to play, 2000-06-18
First, you have to understand that I do not generally enjoy, at all, this sort of wander around, solve the puzzle sort of game. But in watching my son play, I was hooked. The designers have created a great blend of the familiar and the unexpected. Heck, you just don't see film noir aztec/art deco adventures in the land of the dead all that often. Superior story, fun soundtrack, and visuals that are every bit as engaging (in their own loopy way) as Riven all contribute to a game that is...well, here's the kicker for me. My son has long-since worked through the whole game, but he still gets it out regularly, pops it in, and "watches" it just like any of his favorite movies.

A classic adventure game, 2000-06-12
Grim Fandango is, hands down, the best adventure game ever, after the Monkey Island Series. All of the characters have their own unique personality and wit that will make you laugh. The keyboard is a little frustrating at times, but it is the only bad thing. The puzzles are dumbfounding at times, and some have ridiculous solutions, but it's nothing you can't look up on the internet. If you're looking for a very, VERY good adventure game, buy Grim Fandango.

What can I say which hasn't been said before?, 2000-06-11
I never realised how much Grim Fandango had taken over my life in the short space of time that I had been playing it until I came to uninstall it a bit ago... The short Mexican guitar trill brought back all of those memories...At first I wasn't sure whether or not to buy Grim. It had good reviews, nice packaging, but sounded a little silly...thank god I did in the end. Even my sister enjoyed playing it, and she doesn't like Adventure games! With beautifully rendered back drops, cut scenes which will leave you drooling, real-time characters who really seem alive (!) and a wonderful change of atmosphere for every year, Grim Fandango is a peak of pure pleasure. If you half want to buy this but aren't sure, I will promise you now that you WON'T be disappointed! Oh, and the game seems to last for ever, as well, and the story line run up to the end will have you on the edge of your seat until the shocking climax shoot out!

I followed on lucas arts right after i played monkey island "the curse of monkey island"! And i have to admit that i am a true fan of that company! Great stuff! the dialogs are so clever and funny! the story is great and challanging. Although it my pc stuck sometimes, other than that grim fandango is a MUST BUY game for all adventure seakers!
