This is a great game and though not in the original packaging, it was still in great condition. I was very please and would highly recommed this seller. Shipping was super fast!

I think it most fantastic game. Not so complex system and yet we can feel sympathy for the humanistic story. Hero and heroines put a question about "human love" to us, and it is in form of gaming, which even children can easily enjoy. So this is a new attempt in gaming industry.

One of the best, 2005-02-11
This game is the gretaes...and you will find if you are a bit behind in your final fantasy series that this game is outrageously expensive here!! here's a hint for all of you....go to your local k-mart, there they'll have reprint of psone classic version of it for $14.99 that you can play on your playstaion 2, i dont know about all of you, but thats a heck of a lot cheeper than what they are selling it here and its brand new. Save your money....we all know its a great game...so im not going to waste your time with the details...i just trying to save you money...dont buy here and settle for and expensive used or new version unless its a REALLY great deal...go to k-mart...thats where i got mine.

No doubt the best final fantasy out there, 2005-02-09
This game is great. Dont listen to those lame-os saying how bad it is. If your an avid final fantasy fan, I would HIGHLY recommend this awesome game. This was the first final fantasy game I got, and its beyond greatness. Final Fantasy 10 may be the best in graphics, but c'mon, Tidus is a wuss. The main character of Final Fantasy 7 is cool and a tough guy, but also interesting with his past. Not to mention his weapons are wicked cool. However, I would rather recommend the Playstation version.
Pros
1. Awesome storyline. Deep and meaningful. It can get a little confusing though.
2. Great characters- Cloud being the main one. Hes cool and tough. He has a BIG past history. You have to play till the end of disc 2 to find out all of it. The others are cool like his female friend Tifa. Tough talking Cid and cold but understanding Vincent, and other cool ones.
3. Magic and Combat experience. Cool. Magic, Summons and special moves like limit breaks make this game exciting. Nice sound effects.
Cons
1. Well, the only thing is probably the graphics cant compare to ff 10, but the bad graphics only apply to when your running around. But the in-battle graphics are not bad. The cutscene graphics are amazing, maybe better than ff10.
Overall, this game is genius. Other final fantasy games I would recommend are this of course, 8 and 9. I hope someday they remake or have a sequel to this game for the PS2.
