Just the New Testament, 2007-01-15
Reading quality is fine but I expected the order to include the whole Bible. The seller omitted this information and did not specify New Testament so I was surprised when i got my order. I have to buy the Old TEstament now i guess

My husband and I enjoy listening to God's Word spoken in the accent of which it was written. James Earl Jones's voice is very eloquent with great speech timing and voice inflection to be truly engaging. His voice ,however beautiful, is non-distracting which allows the listener space to comprehend. Try it out. If you don't like it, return it.

dont listen to the critics. Get this, 2007-01-05
I almost missed out on this masterpiece by paying attention to the reviews about the background music. I have listened to this several times, mainly in my car and let me tell you, you will not regret buying this item !! The background music is actually very soothing and Mr Jones's
rich tones makes the bible come to life. This was one of my best purchases so far.

Great, 2006-07-08
I love listening to books on tape(or in this case,cds),they are portable and you get get the information in, when you don't have
time to read it yourself.This set contains the new testament stored in papers holders so when you are done with the books and chapters on that cd the next one picks up where he left of.Handy huh?I love to listen to these when I do things around the house or in the car.James Earl Jones has a very smooth voice, which most people love, I became a little distracted at times because of it,but I do still listen to them and love them.I do have to say He did an excellent job,and with this set we should have no reason for not getting God's word in us everyday.
