    Simple Words; Powerful Concepts, 2007-01-12
The writing is definitely on the light side; very easy read and even easier to understand. If not careful you will miss the meat that are on those bones. I didn't give it 5 stars because the story seemed a bit too light. I would have prefered actual situations over the made up story.

The Secret is that one who wants to lead must first SERVE. Not only is this a great attitude to have but it also had a hidden meaning:

    S: See the future
    E: Engage and develop others
    R: Reinvent continously
    V: Value Results and Relationships
    E: Embody the Values

This is a good book to start with before you get into a Maxwell book where you will get the reasoning and explanation behind the steps.

    Amazing Model, 2007-01-09
As you probably know since you are reading this; Ken Blanchard and company are the gurus in modern management. As is the case with situational leadership, one minute manager, gung ho and many others - S.E.R.V.E. promises to deliver and it does. I have passed it around my top layer of management since reviewing it and we are all very excited.

This book has nothing to do with The Secret movie., 2007-01-03
The book is about leading a company, not about the law of attraction. Although it may be a fine book for entrepreneurs, it is not a book on philosophy.

As always from Blanchard, a great book, 2006-09-08
I have been a (raving) fan of Ken Blanchard's for many years now, ever since I first read the One Minute Manager. As always, this book presents effective leadership lessons in small, bite-size chunks through story-telling.

Rather than befuddle, confuse, or attempt to impress by using $5 words, Blanchard uses simple stories to instill the lessons he wants you to learn. It's a very effective way to teach people life lessons.

I highly recommend this book to any and all! In the past, I have given or loaned Blanchard's books to friends, family, and co-workers. I may just do the same with The Secret.

    Secret Revealed, 2005-08-17
This book is a very easy and enjoyable read. It delivers everything promised including the SECRET. I would recomend it whether you own or manage a business or just belong to a local civic organization.
