Awesome reference!, 2006-02-27 I keep this by my side whenever I watch an episode of Star Trek. I'm currently making my way through all the episodes from TOS to ENT (currently at the end of TNG, beginning of DS9). I look up pretty much anything interesting that catches my ear and this book hasn't let me down yet. This really seems to have everything!

Trekkie Heaven, 2005-10-02 What do you get a Trekkie teenager for a birthday gift? One of the gifts was the Star Trek Encyclopedia, and as far as she is concerned, it was the only gift she received! Luckily, it was before school started at the end of the summer, and I wish she studied her algebra and English the way she poured over the encyclopedia. Admittedly, it was both annoying and fun that she kept running back and forth asking ritorical questions "did you know??" about Klingons, spaceships etc. and looking at the actors and actresses who had roles in the series since inception.
The encyclopedia is complete! All the unanswered questions she had been asking her trekkie friends she is now able to answer. Her experience - she has, and has seen every episode and movie from the early years (Kirk) many times, has the 1701-a in her bedroom and wears the Captain Kirk gold shirt on special occations. The encyclopedia is awesome and she is (almost) converting me to a Trekkie too.
