This book will enlighten our nation, 2008-05-01
As a Democrat, I can honestly say this book will change our government forever. I was a skeptic, but after reading Dr. Paul's book I have become aware of what the media is not telling the people of America. A must read for those who want to be enlightened.

I have felt a big emotion reading this book and finding one thing: TRUTH. Truth about currently economic collapse, truth about sound money, truth about what is really America as an original land founded by liberty flag, truth about foreign policy and peace and commerce as a 100% profreedom and libertarian policy.
I encourage to all freedom lovers around the world educate yourself in FREEDOM LIBERTY and JUSTICE. I recommend as i do from Europe, [...]reading the best heros of FREEDOM: Mises, Hayek, Rothbard, and now Ron Paul.
Barry Goldwater was Mr Conservative.
Murray Rothbard was Mr Libertarian.
Ron Paul is Mr Freedom.
Ron Paul is "HERO OF POPULAR LIBERTARIANISM".
American friends, this is not only an american cause, this is a cause for save humanity and world, if humanity has some future. This is a message for the world!

Surprisingly refreshing, 2008-05-01
During Ron Paul's run for presidency, I became very caught up in the whole thing. I listened to his speeches, listened to him in the debates, read some of his writings, and read and listened to a heck of a lot of things that his other supporters were saying.
So when I bought this book, I wasn't really expecting to see anything new or terribly interesting, as I thought I had heard it all. From the first chapter, I was pleasantly surprised to be learning all sorts of new things, and I didn't want to put the book down! Unlike his many speeches, in this book he actually explains the issues in a fair bit of detail, talks about why he believes what he does, and offers a ton of supporting evidence in the form of quotes.
My only complaint is that I wish this book were longer! However, he does manage to pack in a wide array of issues and arguments on everything from the constitution, the war on drugs, health care, the economy, the housing crises, and much more.
I highly recommend this book to just about anyone, especially if you are unfamiliar with Ron Paul. Longtime supporters will also find plenty to enjoy here.

Americans, please buy this book for your children's children!, 2008-05-01
As Americans, it is our responsibility to pass on the amazing legacy that was fought for and given to us by our founding fathers. Please read this book and pass it on to your children. If they don't understand what our country truly stands for, they are easy prey for the socialists and fascists who continue to strip away our freedoms.

The way it ought to be., 2008-05-01
The Good Doctor Paul has put into words what many have felt for years. The hidden short comings of our country and its ever growing government are brought to light like never before in this work. Would that all people take this reason to mind and action, then ours would be the greatest of all mankind.
