madonna is the queen of pop! and the biggest selling female artist of all time!
shep pettibone was the most-sought after remixer of the 80's...
before the two collaborated in "vogue" in 1990, shep was remixing most the songs of madonna, starting with 1986' true blue!
when madonna released the album and single "like a prayer" critics praised both song and album as the artist's "most serious undertaking" in her career...
with the controversial video accompaying the spirutally-vague track, shep was able to remix the song, enhance it and bring out its hidden beauty! voila! madonna's 12-inch remix of like a prayer is yet to be equalled by remixers and composers alike. while the madonna of the 90's and the millennium are great, this 1989 classic remains a special collaboration between the two icons!
