Putt-Putt One-Stop Fun Shop - OK game, 2007-12-11 Hi, I'm StoryMaker. When I was much younger, I got Putt-Putt One-Stop Fun Shop in a pack of 3 Putt-Putt games. In this game, kids make arts and crafts featuring Putt-Putt and his friends from the Putt-Putt games. I will cover the good parts (pros) and bad parts (cons) of this game.
Pros: If you/your child likes Putt-Putt, this is a good game for making arts and crafts starring Putt-Putt. There are plenty of things to make and do which can all be saved and printed out. I loved making lots of different arts & crafts when I was younger. Even though I didn't really print them out, I enjoyed making them. I love Pep, and at one point I came up with the idea of something called "Action Pep", which was a super-powered Pep. When I got this game, I was inspired by the stamps to make up lots of different Action Peps. I loved putting LOTS and LOTS of Pep stickers on my crafts and naming them different things (i. e. Speedy Pep). When I was a youngster, this was a very entertaining game for me.
Cons: Sadly, there are bad points to this game, too. For one thing, this game limits the number of crafts you can save. This forced us to overwrite some of our crafts when we made new ones. It also limits the number of stamps you can use, which was a bummer for us since, as I said, I loved putting up lots of Pep stamps and calling them all different "Action Peps". Also, when you're writing text and take a while, Putt-Putt rudely says "Whaddya gonna type?" As a young child, I hated this so much that I turned the volume off whenever I was writing text. I thought Humongous Entertainment knew that young kids took a while to type! Oh, and, note that this game doesn't really have educational value. You also have to install this game unlike most Putt-Putt games, but heck, if you didn't then you wouldn't be able to save your projects.
Overall: This is a good game, but a few bad quirks make it only worthy of 3 stars. If you want to get this game, I recommend you get it in the Putt-Putt 3-Pack like we did. Signed, StoryMaker. "Gotta trust the kid's review!"
