Customer Reviews:
Bad business tactic, 2008-10-06 I bought this product last year and registered online. I guess there was a default auto-renewal button somewhere because when I click this year to get more info on my renewal, it automatically charged to my credit card without telling me what the price was. I found out what it cost from Norton a few days later when they sent me an email thanking me for the renewal. Not only did I not know what the price was, I wasn't even given a choice to renew or not. Try to find a human being to talk to got me nowhere. I finally got their number from my credit card company to contact them at 1-877-294-5265 (Norton Annual Renewal). You need to call this number to schedule an appointment for someone to call you back. This is NOT the way to do business! All the info should be made available to customers so that THEY can decide whether they want to renew or not! This is not only a matter of courtesy, but a smart business move. As a matter of fact, I did not want to renew because the product slows down my PC. But I was curious about the renewal price, thinking that if it's cheaper than buying a new package, I might as well renew until I find a better product. (The renewal price is not any cheaper.) This whole thing has been very aggravating!
