 Be careful if considering this product, 2005-12-30
I read many very harsh reviews of this product but decided to take a chance and purchase it nonetheless. The product is not as bad as most people said it was (perhaps the latest release has some improvements) but still, the buyer should beware. Because there are so many makes and models of phones, compared with makes and models of PC's and cables, I can understand how it would be difficult to support this product. However Susteen can do better. When my product arrived, I could not register it or use it because the serial number they provided was wrong. After calling and emailing various people, I had to beg and plead the only human I was able to find and not transfer me, and she was able to give me a working serial number. Then I had the challenge of trying to make everything work. This was not easy. The documentation has some lapses in information, and unless you are very competent with supporting your PC, you will most likely want to give up and return the product at this point. I did however get it up and running using my own micro USB cable that came with my digital camera. Don't bother calling or writing for support. They simply don't respond. Never. The website has some useful support info, but not enough to cover the multitude of issues. I was never able to get the Palm synch feature working and was disappointed at the inability to use upload existing music for ringtones. However, I was able to use the software to manually enter info that would end up being the phone directory of my new Motorola Razr. Although the software was missing a few fields that the phone has, I esentially got the job done and the price I paid was worth not having to do the data entry on the phone itself.
