Product Description:
All users wanting to benefit from Cover Flow on the widescreen display of the upcoming iPhone, should manage their iTunes library with CoverScout. It adds a bit of flavor to your iTunes library by jumping in and finding missing covers whenever iTunes reaches its boundaries. As with the iPod and Apple TV, the iPhone gets its content from the iTunes library. Even though iTunes 7 added a "Get Album Artwork" function - of course it will only search for covers on the iTunes store. CoverScout 2.3.4 can scout album artwork on Amazon-websites and displays the results in a preview, allowing you to select the images you want to apply to your songs. In the rare case you can't find the covers you're looking for on the Internet, you can use the built-in snapshot feature to take a picture of the actual cover with your iSight camera and later edit it in the CoverScout editor. The current version, CoverScout 2.3.4 is optimized for Mac OS X 10.4.10 and iTunes 7.2. Therefore it is ready for iPhone, Apple TV and even your iPod. As soon as the program starts, CoverScout gets information on all songs currently in your iTunes library and presents them in a concise list. The overall design let you know at a glance which album covers are missing, which ones are available and which ones have ID3 covers. Of course, you can always just manually assign covers for songs in your iTunes library, one at a time, but why do all the work yourself, when CoverScout can do it for you? CoverScout loads your entire library and can search for multiple covers at a time, helping you find covers for all of your albums in no time. Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. Customer Reviews:
I like it. It's simple, easy and rather quick!, 2007-07-06 I have a large an assortment of music and mostly incomplete albums, and creating a complete cover library was a hard task. I initially would find my album art from various websites an physically drag the image into my iTunes. At the suggestion of my brother, I purchase the program CoverScout. It made finding album art convenient. In a matter of about 15 minutes, I had covers for the majority of my iTunes library. It can even take all those covers that itunes finds and copy them to the ID3 tags. Overall the program worked excellent and was easy to use.
