Customer Reviews:
Poor software, horrible support, 2008-04-12 The company that makes this product is one of the flakiest I have come across. The product arrived without Mac drivers (despite being advertised as Mac-compatible) and the drivers available for download are very buggy. Simply put the software, and thus the scanner, does not work as advertised in recognizing Asian characters. To compound the annoyance, my efforts to contact support have met with the staff evading my queries and responding, at best, by just sending me links to the same bad software. I give the product two stars, rather than just one, because I have been able to scan Japanese cards into one version of the software and then use the OCR of another version to capture the data. In other words, with extra effort, I found a way to make it work. Finally, I should note that you may have a better experience if you use Windows.
