proComposer can read Midi files type 0 or 1 and write Midi files type 1.
All Midi files generated by proComposer are standard and can be used by other Midi softwares.
proComposer uses also a proprietary file format for record purposes, so you can save your work environment.
proComposer works with three editors called Edit, Live and Grid.
Edit is a musical editor : notes,chords and midi events for edition and playback. Edit uses a non-conventional music notation, which make edition easy;you can get complete control over your arrangement.
Live uses the same notation as Edit.
Improvisation work is possible with a key and a time signature on three tracks: melody, bass and drums. Grid gives a global view of the music : transposition, edition, visualisation, playback...
proComposer is simple, intuitive and evolutive.
