wsf, namely Windows Script File, is used by the Microsoft Windows Script Host. It is a text document with XML (Extensible Markup Language) elements (former file format is ws). WSF allows mixing scripting languages (Perl, Object REXX, Python, Kixtart, JScript, and VBScript) to be combined as a single file.
These types of scripts are also used to link many other external scripts together through a src parameter on the tag, which is similar to HTML.
