Lanic description
Lanic is a tool for voice communication between computers connected to a Local Area Network using the TCP/IP protocol. Its operation is comparable to a classic intercom. The initiating computer can select the computer to which it wishes to make a connection in a list displaying all the currently connected machines on which Lanic is running. The list is updated when computers come on line or log off. Choice of six sound codecs for best performance. Visual indicator of active connection and speaker volume control. Choice of Full Duplex or Half Duplex mode. No installation required.
