1776 Divine Judgment 1
1776 Divine Judgment description
1776—Divine Judgment is a book not written with fancy stories that might tickle the inching ears of some. Nor does it take up paper and time reading to get to the point of the message. It is a controversial book that might make Christians very upset (even though I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ for 30 years) and to the point that this is heresy because it goes against conventional wisdom. It is not a book about the arguments of, if or if not, the United States of America is a Christian nation, founded on Christian principles or not. However, it is a book about the topics of,
Did Christians rebel against God's Word in forming this nation?
Did Christians try to make an easy life for themselves by escaping persecution?
From school children on, we have been taught to revere the men of the Revolution as great men, men who sacrificed life for the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. We have been taught, spoon-fed, the doctrines of the Revolution that separation from a tyrannical government was lawful and a God given right. These doctrines have been taught ever since that fateful year the pen was struck to paper.
Scripture is clear what our responsibility toward our Government should be (Be it yesterday or today).
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. (Romans 13:1,2)
Therefore, its you, the believer or reader that has to decide in your heart and mind that what you are reading is the truth and goes against “convention wisdom” of past and present day church leaders or not.
