Poker Mavens is Texas Hold'em poker software that lets both friends and strangers play against each other over the Internet or home network for fun or practice. The software comes in two parts: a free Client Module that each player uses plus a Server Module that coordinates the action for each game. A designated game administrator can run the Server Module in private mode so that only their friends can join in, or in public mode so that anyone can join in.

* Graphical user interface displays player avatars, cards, and chips with sound effects
* Basic game statistics and hand histories available to all players

* Client Module is freeware
* Low cost Server Module (only $29.95) is licensed on a concurrent game model and is available in a free trial version
* Game administrator (who can also play) can use passwords and blacklists to manage player access and can configure starting chips and blinds schedule
