icWord is a program for viewing and using files saved in the classic Word default format, doc, in the textual Word format, RTF, in the AppleWorks/ClarisWorks word processing format cwk and in the PowerPoint presentation format pps. icWord displays the entire contents of the original Word document including graphics, tables, headers, footers, footnotes and endnotes. It is a "viewer" solution, as it shows the text in a what you see is what you get manner with the proper formatting but does not allow changing the content of the text; . icWord allows scaling, word search and navigation with jumpmarks. It opens the following formats: Microsoft Word 95, Microsoft Word 97 to 2003, Microsoft PowerPoint 97 to 2003, AppleWorks/ClarisWorks 5, AppleWorks 6, Text and Unicode. It converts to: AppleWorks 5, AppleWorks 6, Text, Unicode and RTF. It works on Mac OS X 10.2 to 10.5.
