One of the most important things to understand when using TrendCatch is its trading philosophy. TrendCatch differs from other systems because it does not try to forecast the future price, target or size of a market's movement. Rather, it identifies trends, both up and down, and helps investors to identify when is the right time to buy, sell short or hold onto an investment. TrendCatch's strength is in its ability to correctly compute the signals and inform investors when the market trend changes, based on overall and specific market behavior. However, it does not predict the market's behavior. TrendCatch tells investors that if "x" happens, then they need to take action. If investors follow the advice given, they will be following the correct market trend almost all of the time.
TrendCatch is a system that requires investors to eliminate any preconceived biases or emotions and accept advice that have shown, using TrendCatch greater profit earning potential through identified trends. TrendCatch was developed to provide investors with information on changing of the short term trend that have the potential to yield a higher return on investment.
Each day, the system will compute Buy and a Sell signals for the S&P 500 future and the Nasdaq 100 future. The signals change during the trading day accordingly to the markets move. The Trading Bands moves Up and Down during the trading day following the markets movements based upon 1-minute updates. When the market price is right for trading either long or short, the Buy or Sell signal shows immediately.
No overnight positions – all positions are cleared by the end of the trading day.
